Labor RatesHTML/Graphics Labor: Standard HTML (including CSS) development labor is billed at $25 per hour. Graphics development labor is also billed at $25 per hour. HTML labor applies to the creation of static web pages that involve no scripting, such as Javascript or PHP. Graphics labor applies to Logo Design, Web Banner Ad Design, Web Brochures, Slide Shows or any other graphics used in static or dynamic web pages. Programming/Scripting Labor: Development of PHP or Javascript code is billed at $35 per hour. This applies to any web page where dynamic content is created. Meaning, when the page loads, it is not necessarily the same every time. All web based software is built on one or both of these programming languages. Other examples would be any web page that accesses a database, collects information from visitors, sends e-mail, or does anything in a dynamic fashion (rather than looking the same way every time the page loads). Computer Labor: Any type of computer related labor is billed at $35 per hour. This includes computer clean-up, hardware replacement, operating system re-installation, operating system migration, training/consultation, and network maintenance/troubleshooting. Any requested on-site services will be billed an additional $25 service call charge within 10 miles of Scottsbluff, NE. Other sites greater than 10 miles, but less than or equal to 60 miles of Scottsbluff will also be billed the standard $25 service call charge plus 48 cents per mile round-trip. We do not perform any on-site service calls more than 60 miles from Scottsbluff, NE. Alternate Method Of PaymentDue to past issues with W9 forms and businesses over-withholding income tax, social security and medicare, we have established a new alternate method of payment policy for projects that will exceed 40 hours of labor. In the event that your project will inevitably exceed 40 hours of labor, we will require that the designer/programmer assigned to your project be put on your company's payroll as a part-time employee at the rate of $18 per hour. This will give your designer/programmer an honest opportunity to have his/her withholdings set based on how many dependents they normally claim on a W4. The reason for this is due to the fact that all designers and programmers for MAX Graphics are subcontractors rather than actual employees of MAX Graphics, which is why we no longer accept W9 forms and keep our rates below the annual W9 qualification limit. We realize the impact that this has on an employer's operating expenses regarding unemployment insurance and social security contribution matching. But we've done the math and it still works out monetarily in the employer's favor when compared to what it would cost to pay full labor rates on a 40+ hour project, the employer wins all the way around under this policy.
